If the gifts offered in the Epic Games holiday season sale didn’t match your bill, the latest installment might interest you. The video game developer has included the Tomb Raider trilogy which includes: Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration and Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition.
The rebooted trilogy is free on the Epic Games Store and players will have around a week to claim them. The trilogy will be restored to its original price on January 6. While previous rumors indicated that each game in the trilogy would be available separately for the next three days, the Definitive Survivor Trilogy will be free in the online store until next week.
In particular, each of the games on the Epic Games Store is available with all of its respective DLC. As Polygon pointed out, Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition includes the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer and additional bonus costumes. Meanwhile, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes an additional story of “Blood Ties” in Croft Manor and a zombie invasion called “Lara’s Nightmare”. As for Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, players can get all the downloadable skins, outfits, and abilities, along with seven DLC challenge tombs.
Talking about the next freemium title on the list, Clever Beans and Deep Silver’s top-down action game, Gods Will Fall will be the next game to join the list. The game will be available for free until January 13, 2022. To remember, Epic’s annual Christmas giveaway kicked off on December 16 with the developer promising to offer 15 free games during their Christmas sale starting with Shenmue III. The last offering before the Tomb Raider trilogy was the title Salt & Sanctuary from Dark Souls and Metroidvania.
The post-Tomb Raider trilogy is now available for free on the Epic Games Store – here’s how to make it appear first in BGR India.
