Stan Sport scores rights to Laver Cup tennis tournament featuring Nick Kyrgios – Ausdroid

If you like to watch tennis and have access to Stan sport streaming service there is an entertaining tournament in late September that you would like to see.

The Laver Cup, in its fourth year, pits six Team Europe superstars against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world with each match of the tournament broadcast ad-free, live and on demand only on Stan Sport.

On paper, Team Europe is much stronger with 5 of the top 10 male players in the ATP rankings, but who knows the World Team could pull off an unexpected victory.

  • The competition will take place over three days beginning September 25, 2021 at TD Garden, Boston.
  • Two teams of six players will compete: Team Europe v Team World, which will meet in twelve matches, divided into nine singles and three doubles matches.

Those confirmed to participate in the tournament for Team Europe include: Daniil Medvedev (World No. 2, Russia), Stefanos Tsitspas (World No. 3, Greece), Alexander Zverev (World No. 4, Czech Republic) , Andrey Rublev (World No. 7, Russia), Matteo Berrettini (World No. 8, Italy) and Casper Ruud (World No. 11, Norway).

Team World, which will aspire to win the Laver Cup for the first time, will feature Nick Kyrgios (World No. 86, Australia), Denis Shapovalov (World No. 10, Canada), Diego Schwartzman (World No. 14, Argentina ), Felix Auger-Aliassime (World No. 15, Canada), John Isner (World No. 22, US) and Reilly Opelka (World No. 24, US).

The 2021 Laver Cup kicks off on September 25 with every game, set and match live, exclusive and ad-free on Stan Sport.

You need a Stan plan (minimum $ 10 / month) to add the Stan Sport package for an additional $ 10 / month.

Stan Sport has the rights to many rugby tournaments around the world, the UEFA Champions League (also some other UEFA tournaments), Wimbledon, Roland-Garros and the Laver Cup.

Stan offers a 30-day trial of their main streaming service and a 7-day trial of Stan Sport, so if you want to try both, I suggest you sign up for a trial on September 25 for both.
