PTCL, Ufone recognized as Best Place to Work at Pakistan’s leading HR awards

Pakistan Telecom Company Limited (PTCL) and Ufone have been recognized in the Best Place to Work 2021 awards organized by the Pakistan Human Resources Management Society (PSHRM) and Engage Consulting, during a ceremony held in Karachi.

The awards were announced based on independent surveys conducted by PSHRM and Engage Consulting to study human resource management practices and work environments in more than 160 companies across Pakistan. PTCL won the “Most Improved Score” award, while Ufone took the “Best Place to Work (Telecom Industry)” award.

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Zaidi, executive vice president of strategy, digitization and governance of human resources of the group (PTCL & Ufone) represented the group at the event. The Executive Director Meezan Bank and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Foreign Investors (OICCI), Irfan Siddiqui, was the main guest; while National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) President and CEO Zia Mohyeddin and Sehat Kahani Co-Founder and COO Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga delivered the keynote address.
