If you had trouble reserving your Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro the other week, you may have forgotten to add your free $ 99 Pixel Buds Series-A with purchase to your cart.
Google has you covered and will send you an email with some instructions for redeeming your Buds, so you don’t get left out in the cold.
Perhaps not surprisingly, people weren’t always redeeming the free Pixel Buds Series-A at that time. I mean, the Google Store broke during launch, the orders stopped passing, devices disappeared from customer carts at checkout, and there were also obvious stock issues.
To add to that, the way to redeem the free A-Series Pixel Buds was confusing, requiring customers to manually add the Buds to their cart before paying.
Even those customers who remembered to add both to their cart encountered some issues, such as the phone dying the moment they managed to pay.
To compensate customers in what appears to be the most successful Pixel device launch to date (pending sales figures, of course, but I can’t recall any other phone ever selling that fast), Google has decided to honor the spirit. of the Pixel Buds Series-A promotion.
Any customer who has purchased their Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro during the eligibility period, but forgot to add Pixel Buds A-Series to their cart, will receive an email with the steps to redeem their free headphones.
Google says it will send all emails by November 3, so check your inboxes. Apparently the email will have a redeem button, which will go to the Google store to choose your Buds A color.
Then a coupon will be automatically applied to the cart, making your total cost zero. Good boy, Google.
