Apple today released the second beta versions of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 for developers.
The move comes three weeks after the first beta was released just before Christmas and will also come the day after Apple released new beta versions of macOS as well.
This new round of updates also comes on the same day that Apple released the new iOS 15.2.1 and iPadOS 15.2.1 updates to the public. Both new beta versions can be downloaded as an over-the-air update on devices that have the correct developer profile installed.
Apple is yet to say what these new updates have to offer, but those awaiting the arrival of features like Universal Control are likely to have to wait a bit longer. The feature may have been announced as part of iOS 15, but it looks like it will be iOS 15.4 or later before we can test it out for ourselves.
This beta 2 update is likely more about fixing bugs and tweaking things under the hood than anything else. We also hope that it will be available to those in the public beta program soon enough, possibly as soon as tomorrow, assuming no major issues are discovered once the developers install it.
If you’re running developer beta and testing iOS 15.3 or iPadOS 15.3, be sure to let us know in the comments and on social media if you find new features or major bugs.
