CDC: Most reported US Omicron cases have hit the people who are fully vaccinated – Insider Paper

According to a US report released on Friday, the majority of the 43 COVID-19 cases caused by the Omicron variant identified in the United States so far were in people who were fully vaccinated, and a third of those had received a booster dose.

According to ReutersThe US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that 34 of the 43 cases attributed to the Omicron variant had been fully vaccinated. Fourteen of them had also received a booster shot, although five of those cases occurred within 14 days of the additional injection before full protection was activated.
